Esther Heite

Esther Heite is an award winning emerging talent from Germany. Graduating from Hochschule Düsseldorf in 2019 (and currently undertaking her Masters there), Esther has won the Marzee Graduate Prize (2019), the JPlus Emerging Taltent Award at Klimt02 (2019), was a finalist in the Friedrich Becker Prize (2020) and the Legnica Jewellery Competition (2021).

"Breaking the rules and limits of the familiar, I develop my own techniques and tools to generate a new aesthetic. The explorative approach of technique and material activates in my process a never-ending experimental field of discoveries and innovations. Since my graduation project I work mainly with stainless steel and fine welding. Rather than try to disguise the welding dots, they have become a central element of my jewellery making."
