Lindy’s practice focuses on the vessel, and how surface texture can evoke a sense of place. Having travel extensively in the remote regions of Australia, she has developed a personal and unique interpretation of the aesthetics of these environments. Lindy expresses notions of the sublime in these remote places, where harsh extremes in weather sculpt the landscape. Her work reflects on both the wider panorama of the landscape and close observation of its surface and detail.
